How it works - Three things we do, every day, so you don't have to.

The Texas electricity market is too big and too tricky for any one person to track. So we built a process to track it for you. We monitor the providers, the plans, the patterns in your home, and figure out the right move for your specific situation.

We watch every plan, every day.

At any given time there are close to 2,000 active electricity plans out there. We pull every one of them, every day, look at the rate, the fees, the contract terms, and the fine print most people never read.

We track the providers too: who’s raising rates after the teaser period ends, who’s quietly changing terms after enrollment, who’s about to disappear and sell their customer book to someone else.

None of this is visible on the comparison sites you’ve probably used. They show you a sticker price and let you sort it out. We do the watching so you don’t have to.

We learn how your home actually uses power.

Your smart meter records what your home is doing every 15 minutes. When you connect WiseBolt, we pull a year of that data and start building a picture of how you actually live.

When you wake up. When the AC runs hardest. When you’re gone. Whether you’re a steady user or a spiky one. Whether your usage is climbing year-over-year or holding flat.

This matters because the “cheapest” plan on paper depends entirely on how much power you use and when. A plan that’s perfect for a small apartment is a disaster for a 4,000 square foot home with a pool, and vice versa. We don’t guess. We measure.

We show you the best plan in each category.

We read the Electricity Facts Label and contract behind every plan, not just the headline rate. Usage tiers, fees and the end of any teaser rate all go into the math.

Then we rank plans by what they would cost your home, month by month, and highlight the best in each category: shorter term, 12 months, and greenest.

Which provider a plan comes from never enters into the ranking, and we send you straight to the provider’s own signup page. If none of the plans beat your current rate, we’ll tell you that.
